Our story

Veera began with a quiet but powerful insight: the story of gender change has often left men on the sidelines. While women and marginalized groups carried the weight of transformation, men were told who they “should” be instead of invited to explore who they could become.

Vision

We envision a generation of men redefining masculinity through empathy and allyship, transforming strength into care and care into meaningful change for themselves and everyone around them

Mission

Veera Foundation places men at the heart of change. We create spaces, tools and experiences that spark curiosity, challenge limiting norms, inspire self-growth and foster positive masculinity. Through human-centred and behaviour design approaches, we support men to practise equity and empathy so they can lead fuller lives themselves and stand beside others as true allies

The Veera approach

At Veera, our work takes many forms: programs that engage men and communities, research that grounds us in evidence, and communication that sparks wider dialogue. But underneath it all, our approach ties everything together.

Human-centred

We begin with men's real lives, experiences, and emotions...

Human-centred

We begin with men's real lives, experiences, and emotions. By creating safe spaces for reflection and growth, we invite them to question old patterns and define healthier versions of themselves. Whether through a workshop, a story, or a conversation in the community, men are always at the heart of the work.

Behaviour-based

Lasting change comes from practice, not just intention...

Behaviour-based

Lasting change comes from practice, not just intention. That is why our approach is grounded in behaviour design— creating opportunities for men to test new actions and build habits that transform their relationships, work, and communities.

Community-driven

No one changes alone. We build circles, peer networks...

Community-driven

No one changes alone. We build circles, peer networks, and collective movements where men can support one another, share stories, and take collective action to foster empathy and equity at scale.
